Depending on the design category approved in your plan, a home may include wider doorways and accessways, accessible kitchens and bathrooms, durable fittings, provisions for ceiling hoists, backup power, or home automation. It's important to note that SDA funds the dwelling itself — separate supports like SIL or personal care are funded differently and cover the people who assist you.
